about me
Hi, I’m Syd.
I’m interested in creating a life that feels good to actually live.
Not perfect. Not optimized. Not constantly productive.
Just more intentional. More grounded. More connected.
I’m a mother, creative, herbalism student, and lifelong learner. I’m drawn to plants, seasonal living, cooking, gardening, photography, design, Human Design, and the quiet rituals that make ordinary life feel meaningful.
I’m interested in the ways all of these things connect and how the systems we create, the spaces we live in, the things we make, and the way we understand ourselves can change how everyday life feels.
From systems to seasons
My professional background is in operations, implementation, customer experience, and creative work.
For years, I worked inside growing companies helping people, processes, and systems work better together. I learned how to take something complicated, find the patterns, create structure, and make it easier to navigate.
That part of me hasn't gone anywhere.
I'm just more interested now in applying that way of thinking to life itself.
How do we create rhythms that support our families?
How do we make everyday life feel less chaotic?
How do we make space for creativity and rest?
How do we reconnect with nature?
How do we understand ourselves well enough to build a life that actually fits?
What I’m learning
I'm not here as an expert with all the answers.
I'm here to explore.
I'm learning herbalism. I'm learning what motherhood continues to teach me. I'm exploring Human Design and other ways of understanding ourselves. I'm experimenting with routines, systems, recipes, plants, creative projects, and different ways of moving through the seasons of life.
Some things work.
Some things don't.
I'm interested in sharing both.

Motherhood has sharpened my relationship to time, energy, responsibility, and impact.
When I became a parent, certain things became immediately clear:
Capacity is real
Systems matter
Poor structure creates stress fast
Decisions have ripple effects
Sustainability isn’t theoretical, it’s daily
That perspective changes how I see work.
I’m no longer interested in:
Urgency for urgency’s sake
Growth without infrastructure
Vague expectations
Work that only functions when someone overextends
